Band Biography

Coffee Shower started rocking back in 1999. The band comes from L"Aquila, a nice but pretty isolated town in the middle of Italy. We could say they play punk-rock. We can't deny these guys are strongly influenced by most popular hardcore-punk bands, but listening to the music they play you can easily notice a pretty personal use of alternative rhythms and guitar riffs, which gave this band the fame of being one of the most interesting punk-rock acts around. In fact their unique blend of fast and intense melodies has allowed them touring several times all around the state and supporting such bands as MISCONDUCT, GAMITS, POINT OF NO RETURN, PUNKREAS and STILL HERE.

These live shows allowed the band to gain a pretty big fan support and local press attention. They also played at Independent Days Festival, together with huge international bands. Their debut "A Product For The Youth Development", a self-released 5-track cd, was sold out in few months and got the attention of nh-n records that immediately signed the band.

They recently toured Germany and Switzerland with another band of nh-n roster (NITROJUICE). nh-n records will release 6 new songs from Coffee Shower on a split-cd with the Dutch band DEPENDENT which is called 'split by Side" (out April 5, 2004). They"re hitting the road again with Dependent to support the release from April 9 to 17.
