What are we going to do with the "e-word"? why aren't men allowed to show their feelings? where the hell is haan? and who was shakesspeare again? four question to which that very time i saw... know the answer: the "e-word", "emocore": nobody dares to use this word without inverted commas, we are being smothered by stereotypes, but what does this tell us about a band? nothing, exactly, and if five guys from the east of düsseldorf (which already answers the question where haan is) enjoy making music together which follows along the lines of their rolemodels texas is the reason, samiam and quicksand then one is already on the safe side. forget emocore call it punkrock, call it indierock, just call it great music that proves men can show their feelings. and william shakespeare, english dramatist (1564-1616) and his piece "a midsummer night's dream", is to be blamed that that very time i saw... got their name.
