About this Release

Losing Six Seconds hit the scene with a stunning blend of punk, hardcore and old school metal riffage. Slip in their new CD, press play on the machine and the first track 'Rebuilding Jericho' is a short, sharp smack in the teeth of an opener, full of hardcore energy and duelling vocals filled with passion.

The whole CD will keep you guessing. 'Intersection' opens with a tribal drum and bass beat before the guitars build into the ripping speed punk verse. The chorus breaks down into a haunting riff that wouldn't be out of place on a Mars Volta CD. The Prog rock influences are evident in this track as the experimental and instrumental breakdown lasts about a minute and a half. The band will try anything, but keep it enthralling, with jazzy guitar riffs mixed with heavy punk drums on 'Within Bridle'. 'Hormonicide' features the sort of riffs that most hardcore guitarists wouldn't even begin to think of, bar maybe Poison The Well, and some super fast Maiden-esque galloping rhythms for good measure.

"Ragnarok" is a song about two huge monsters having a fight. It's the musical equivalent of comic book mayhem! Full on epic riffs straight out of a Final Fantasy boss battle followed by a heavy-ass breakdown.

The final track "Radiant Today" blasts out and the extended scream is the exclamation point at the end of this great CD. Definitely ones to watch.

"A powerful and original blast of prog and punk influenced hardcore".

"A new UK band here to grab you by the balls!"
