Sometimes Why make nice melodic indie rock which isn't all too bad at last. The songwidth is from quiet nice melodic pop songs, which are the better ones, to loud nice melodic pop songs, which are the weaker ones. You see the problem? Their music is all too nice. Though they have cool frickling guitar parts in the verses the emotions they build up there get lost in most of their choruses which often sound like alternative rock songs. A nice record for nice Tuesday evenings.
