OK. Question #1. Why haven't I heard of this amazing UK band before? Question #2. Why the hell did they have to go and break up? Good, inspiring and angry punk songs that you know would be massive if they came from the US. As it is they come from the UK and so will shrink into obscurity. 'Attack of the Clones' has them regaling against the self-righteousness of not only the straightedge scene but also the punk scene in general. 'I won't be aligned to being cool when being cool means following the rules!' Here, here. Time to boot hipsters out. MRR didn't like their instrumental cover of Fugazi's 'Merchandise' that break into 'My Sharona' by the Knack. I thought it was kind of cool.

Named after a quiet and simple chess move but with all the power of a tornado's vortex busting off the Fujita scale and ripping up your house the Babies Three give us their final recording. The band has finally found their true sound and in these six awesome tracks you can feel the anger bubbling just beneath the surface. Compared to Planes Mistaken For Stars, Poison The Well, etc this record is some kind of legacy!
