ALL ABOUT CHAOS (http://www.all-about-chaos.net)

If you're always looking for original and varied music that combines elements of every musical genre you like listening to and if you're into rock (from melodic punk rock to indie), then I think that you should write down the name of this band and try to get a copy of Red Car Burns' debut record released through Nh-N Records, "...When Everything Seems To Be In Silence". These four guys are not new at all to the European scene but, after being around for 6 years under the name The Genitalz, they understood that the time was come for their project to get into something much more serious and mature, The Genitalz finally turned into Red Car Burns. Their debut record as Red Car Burns is in fact "... When Everything Seems To Be In Silence", a record based upon the perfect fusion between melodic punk rock, post rock and indie rock. Thanks to its 11 fresh, innovative and energetic songs, that bring in elements of bands such as Hot Water Music and Jawbreaker, it will be hard for the most pretending listener to get annoied or to avoid getting their mind captured by this record. Simple but deep guitar riffs and melodies are mixed with introspective lyrics and feelings of desperation expressed through their deeply emotional music. Mainly because of my musical tastes, this isn't the kind of band I would listen over and over again but one thing is sure: Red Car Burns undoubtely know what they're doing and they're doing it very very well. While listening to this record we can clearly understand that this band is reborn more than just matured and the result of this process is "... When Everything Seems To Be In Silence", a record that won't pass un-noticed in the European rock scene and this band really deserves it.
