A brilliant companion CD for an excellent book

Big thanks to Eugene Butcher for his review of the ‘Charlie Harper - An aural accompaniment to An Anarchy of Demons’ CD in the latest issue of the always-ace Vive Le Rock magazine.

The sixteen track CD is a joint label release between Engineer Records (The sister label of publishers Earth Island Books) and their partners in this UK Subs recording, Time & Matter Recordings.

Eugene talks about Charlie’s book being “A great, fact packed, bar story of a book that tells his tale from busker to punk legend” and says the CD is “A brilliant companion to an excellent book.”

On the CD Charlie Harper reads chapters from his superb autobiography and interspaces his readings with key songs from his life story.

There are limited numbers of the CD left, available exclusively from Engineer Records or with purchases of the 'An Anarchy of Demons' book direct from Earth Island Books.
