Coleman is a punk/hardcore/alternative trio from Turin, Italy that formed in 2024 and consists of Zack (guitar and vocals), Emil (bass) and Tave (drums), three long-standing friends with different musical backgrounds but some shared experiences (The Ponches, Aleph-Zero, Insee, Est Ego, Rope), and a shared passion for the melodies and distorted sounds typical of 1990s HC.
Their debut album is called ‘Threads’ and brings together songs written by Coleman over the last few years, since covid and right up to date, along with a cover of a band that is sure to resonate. The lyrics are inspired by experiences, places, friendships and personal moments.
'Threads’ was recorded, mixed and mastered in January 2026 at Davide Donvito’s Magma Studio in Turin, and is set to be released via Engineer Records in September 2026.
For Fans of : Bad Religion, Lifetime, Samiam, Rise Against, Pennywise, Zero Cost, R.C. Sullivan, Lagwagon, No Use For A Name, etc.
The first single from the album will be ‘I Got Burned’, which speaks openly about grief and the fact that, despite everything, the people who have been part of our lives leave an indelible mark even when they are no longer with us.
