Neckscars share video for new single 'Manor Mooch'

Punk Rock Theory have premiered the brand new video for ‘Manor Mooch’, the latest single from Neckscars.

The song is taken off the band’s upcoming sophomore full-length album, ‘Unhinged,’ out August 1st on Sell The Heart Records (pre-order) and Engineer Records (pre-order). The track sees the band expanding their sound without losing the raw, classic punk rock and roll energy that’s become their signature. The single is a standout from the band’s upcoming album, which features twelve new tracks that lean into a broader sonic palette. It’s a step forward in song-writing and tone: still loud, still honest, but now with even more depth.

“Manor Mooch kinda just came to me after being super disappointed by a close buddy of mine,” says frontman Will Romeo. “Everyone has that one person in their life that always seems to come up short or only calls ya when they need something. It's frustrating, but you never give up on them.”

Formed in Downstate New York in late 2018, Neckscars - Will Romeo (vocals/guitar), Justin Parish (guitar/vocals), Colin Harte (bass), and a rotating cast of drummers - have long been a fixture in the DIY scene. With decades of experience between them, the band pulls influences from the likes of Seaweed to Dead Boys, blending grit and melody into something that feels both familiar and fresh.

Following their 2021 debut Don't Panic (released via Sell The Heart Records in the US and Engineer Records in the UK), Neckscars have kept busy with a series of compilation appearances and splits, including a memorable four-way collab with American Thrills, Tired Radio, and Nightmares For A Week, and a 2023 vinyl split with Moonraker.
