Russian Girlfriends premiere ‘A Violent Mind’ with Bad Copy
Following an extended hiatus and several side projects, Russian Girlfriends has reunited with original vocalist Adam Hooks and drummer JR Willoughby. The band has announced a new six-song EP, ‘Never Better’, which will be released on November 6th via Sell The Heart Records (US), High End Denim Records (Canada), Engineer Records (UK) and Scene Police Records (Germany). The new album will be available on 12″ vinyl in three different colour variants along with digital download.
The band has released a new single, entitled ‘A Violent Mind’ along with an accompanying music video.
Band member Adam Hooks shared the following about the new track:
“It’s a darkly comic take on the inner workings of the human mind and our propensity towards violent fantasies, only our protagonist is much too self aware (or maybe lazy?) to allow those twisted thoughts to be anything but.”
