THRONK! join the label and celebrate with a new EP

We’re delighted (and a little scared) to announce that THRONK!, those DIY Punk chancers from Newport, will be joining the label.

They know how to have fun and make a god-awful, neighbour-upsetting racket whilst doing it. They also have a bunch of great gigs lined up, and will be rocking Rebellion Festival and Bristol Punx Picnic this year, and are always looking for more parties they can crash.

So, provided we can spirit them away from their overly-affectionate keepers / carers, we’re going to get a decent digipak CD of their latest five songs on a new EP entitled ‘Kick Me While I’m Down’ unleashed into the world asap this Spring, and probably follow it with a limited edition vinyl version too, before they get around to a full LP later in the year.

There’s a release party/gig on the 17th April at The Cab in Newport, and for now, you can check out one of the new tracks, ‘There’s No A.I. in Team’ for free on the bands bandcamp, at https://thronk.bandcamp.com

‘Kick Me While I'm Down’ will be the 2nd EP from these noisy chuckle-monkeys known as THRONK!, and their first to be released on Engineer Records. 

This is a 5 track rapid fire punk and hardcore blaster to leave you wanting more for the road ahead.

This is also the start of THRONK!, 2.0 as they make their label debut with their biggest anthem yet in ‘There's No A.I. In Team’ which leaves you bobbing your head like a pigeon at a hardcore show. Listen along as the band take on their hatred of A.I in the arts, white-toothed clarts who put it on online to keep up a facade of a perfect life, the bands love of coffee, getting out of trapped situations and a love song nod to a classic bit of 90's gaming.

THRONK! are here to relieve you of the seriousness of the shit world we are in, and maybe even have a HC party while they do it.

It may have to start early though, as two of them are on probation and have to be in by a certain time. Ankle monitors and all.
