LYRICS - I Wrote A Song:

I turned 40 years old as the world was ending

(COVID-19, COVID-19, COVID)

Isolated with nothing to do

(Midlife crisis, midlife crisis, midlife)

My old bandmate sent me a song he was working on

And I said oh shit I wanna write one too

Was it good (so so)

Did I care (hell no)

I didn’t know what I was doing

But I just carried on

When I was done (what then)

You sang along (hell yeah)

And we were in this shit together

Because I wrote a song

I wrote a pop punk song about politics

(shared it online, shared it online, shared it)

And a hardcore song about goin on a walk

(goin’ on a walk, goin’ on a walk, goin)

Then Scotty said I think that this could be a band

And that’s how we became Worthington’s Law

Was it good (so so)

Did I care (hell no)

I didn’t know what I was doing

But I just carried on

When I was done (what then)

You sang along (hell yeah)

And we were in this shit together

Because I wrote a song

And now I give this one to you!

and now wanna hear your song too

Will it be good? (Who knows?)

Will you care? (hell no)

And if you don’t know what you’re doing

I hope you’ll carry on

When you’re done (what then)

I’ll sing along (hell yeah)

We’ll be in this shit together

Because you wrote a song

And now I wanna hear your song too!
