Sweet Teeth hail from the industrial backwater of Finspång, Sweden, carrying the torch for a sound they lovingly, albeit a bit tongue in cheek, call “Hüskerrock.” With roots firmly planted in the melodic fury of Hüsker Dü, the band blends ragged punk energy, fuzzy power pop, and heart-on-sleeve emotion into something both nostalgic and immediate.
Sweet Teeth sharpened their sound on their new album, “The Void That Eats The Heart,” a record packed with soaring guitars, buzzing bass, explosive drumming, and vocals that swing between desperation and beauty. Nothing about it feels accidental.
Sweet Teeth is made up of seasoned lifers from Sweden’s punk and hardcore underground: Disfear, Deadbeats, Tormented and Studio Underjord. Together, they channel decades of experience into songs that hit fast, loud, and straight in the heart.
