"Play Hard, Play Fast" is the motto of 5 piece melodic skate punk band Follow Thru. Based in Providence, Rhode Island, Follow Thru songs are often described as high energy rippers, with catchy hooks fuelled by iced coffee, beer, and self-doubt. Following the release of their EP "Ghosts" in 2024, the band is set to release their first full length, 12 track album "Eat Your Heart Out" in September 2026.
Though official timelines are sketchy, It's believed that Follow Thru started in a basement in 2017, when Ryan O'Keefe decided it was time to move from the shadows of being a ska punk trombone player into the limelight of raspy lead vocal punk front man. Coincidentally around this time, guitarist Ben Allard proclaimed "If I ever have to play ska again, I'll stab someone in the eye", and thus a new band was formed.
What followed was the gathering of other fellow and former bandmates, with bassist Kelsey Rouine, rhythm guitar and vocalist Glen Marshall, and drummer Mike Stewart joining along for the ride.
"Eat Your Heart Out" arrives in September 2026, released via Engineer Records (UK), High End Denim Records (CAN), Pasidaryk Pats Records (LT) and Tacocat Records (US).
