Her Heads On Fire coming to the UK and release new tour CD with Big Shipping
Come November Her Head’s On Fire will once again join stalwart pals in Back Teeth and return the UK to dance with us all night long.
The Chicago based emo/rock band, featuring ex-members of Garrison, Saves The Day and The Bomb, will be playing twelve shows over eleven days, including two all ages matinees on these shores.
Exeter’s Big Shipping will be joining them at four of the gigs and we have an awesome split release for the tour to celebrate that!
Her Head's On Fire met Big Shipping at the Cavern in Exeter at a gig last year and the idea was hatched to record a split record for the tour this year.
The result is this beautiful new record! A split CD digipack with two new tracks from each band.
The US band, Her Heads On Fire, have included a song from the sessions of their most recent LP, ‘Am I Not Your Girl?’ (out now on Iodine records) and a cover of The Cure's ‘A Night Like This’, whilst the UK contingent, Big Shipping, have added two inspired new jams, recorded right on the heels of their new LP, ‘Nobody Asked for This’ (out now on Freakscene Records, the Cavern’s own label) to make a superb and limited edition tour CD you need to grab a copy of.
The pre-order for the CD goes live at Engineer Records from today and the official release will coincide with the digital streaming of these tracks on 2nd October.
Tracklist:
1, HHOF – An Ocean Separates Us
2, Big Shipping – Not Today
3, HHOF – A Night Like This*
4, Big Shipping – Viscous Cycle
The new record will be celebrated by Her Heads On Fire and Big Shipping with shows together in the UK this November, in Exeter, Bristol and London.
(Full tour from 5th to 15th November, poster below).

Her Heads On Fire will also be supporting Texas Is The Reason at US shows in late October.
Her Head's On Fire new album, Am I Not Your Girl? Was released on Iodine Records July 17th. They will be playing at The Fest in Gainesville on 24th October, and sharing stages with Texas Is The Reason, Algernon Cadwallader, Back Teeth and Big Shipping all through the autumn.
Big Shipping formed in 2019. The band is made up of two brothers on guitars, two brothers on bass and vocals and a drummer who is part of neither bloodline. They’ve already managed to share stages with Swami John Reis, Fucked Up, Spotlights, Deaf Club, Coilguns and Her Heads On Fire and after a couple of self-released EPs, their debut album ‘Nobody Asked For This’ was released in January 2026 by Freakscene Records, the long-standing DIY label run by their local venue, The Cavern in Exeter.
