New Noise premiere Rad Skulls ‘Dotted Lines’

Rad Skulls announce the new album See You In Hell, Poser—to be released in September via Sell The Heart Records, Engineer Records, High End Denim Records, Scene Police Records and Waterslide Records. The first single, ‘Dotted Lines,’ started streaming on July 31 alongside the lyric video and album pre-orders.

“‘Dotted Lines’ is the first single from the debut album, See You In Hell, Poser. Recorded by Jeff Dean at Echo Mill in Chicago, the song explores personal struggles, self-reflection, and the challenges of navigating difficult moments,” says the band.

Rad Skulls are a fast, melodic, punk band based between Madison, Wisconsin, and Rockford, Illinois. The five members have spent years playing in other bands—writing and recording records, playing clubs, and DIY spaces, and touring throughout the Midwest and beyond. Rad Skulls brings that experience together into something direct and focused. The band’s sound pulls from the urgency and melody of Lifetime and the early, emotionally charged records, by Saves The Day. They deliver fast songs built around strong hooks, driving rhythms, and lyrics that feel lived-in rather than nostalgic.

Formed in 2023, the group includes Andy and Matt, previously of Fortune and Glory, and Pat, known for his work with Latterman and Bridge and Tunnel. The line-up also includes vocalist Bryce, who also performs with the band Collapse Create, and Chicago-area bassist Sean. But, don’t mistake Rad Skulls for a side project or a throwback. It’s five musicians with a long history in punk starting something new with intention—leaning into speed, melody, and the kind of song-writing that holds up in a basement show or a bigger room.
