The Hope Experiment

Break To Broken’s sophomore album ‘The Hope Experiment’ is available to pre-order now. Featuring twelve 12 great songs that explore new territories while remaining anchored in the raw, driving post-punk sound the band is known for.The limited pressing of transparent green vinyl records will be released and distributed via an international alliance of four mainstay independent labels, Engineer Records (UK), Scene Police Records (Germany), Pasidaryk Pats Records (Lithuania), and Coffin Curse Records (USA). 

A virtual, borderless band that combines Australian musician Clinton Maher and New Jersey '90s punk rock scene veterans Eli Nowak and Justin Rauschkolb. Coming together when the world came to a halt in 2020, they became a fully functioning group, working across continents and time zones. They are united by a love of the sound of 90s Dischord Records and the DIY ethos – a creation that connects more than geography. This is the band's second album, packed with controlled, angry, grooving blasts that is a must for any Fugazi fan.

Break To Broken also feature on the new 27FM Scene Police radio show. Hosting a mix of old and new tracks, from classic releases to newer bands keeping that spirit alive. Punk, hardcore, emo, noise… all the stuff that shaped the label and still resonates today.

This one’s a bit of a time warp: Past and present colliding, dusty vinyl memories next to fresh tracks.
