White Frogs, the influential Brazilian melodic hardcore band, is proud to announce the long-awaited physical release of their acclaimed Radio Session — for the first time ever on CD — through UK independent label Engineer Records.
Previously available only on streaming, the Radio Session captures Sao Paulo’s White Frogs at their raw, honest, and electrifying best — a live-in-studio recording that distils the energy of the band’s celebrated live shows into a powerful, unfiltered format.

A Milestone Release - Set for release in Autumn 2025, the Radio Session CD marks a new chapter for White Frogs and a significant milestone in their international legacy. This is the first time a White Frogs release is being handled by a UK label, bringing their sound directly to new ears across Europe.
“This session was one of our purest recordings,” says founding member João Veloso Jr. “It’s direct, urgent, and heartfelt — we’re thrilled it’s finally being made available as a physical release, especially through such a respected DIY label like Engineer Records.”

About the Radio Session - Originally recorded and broadcasted live for Brazil 2000, a Brazilian radio broadcast in the early 2000s, the Radio Session includes raw versions of fan favourites, showcasing the band’s blend of melodic sensibility and hardcore drive. It’s a snapshot of a band at their peak — no overdubs, no filters, just passion and precision. The band line up at this was:
Henrique Nardi - vocals
Joao Veloso Jr. - Bass
Denis Trombino - Guitars
Frederico Dias - Drums
The tracks were mastered by Fernando Sanches, one of Brazil’s leading punk rock engineers, at El Rocha Studios in São Paulo.
The album was recorded following a period of touring and marked the band’s first full-length release since Twenty One Jay, which had been recorded at Coyote Studios in New York City and mixed at Inner Ear in Arlington, Virginia. It was produced by Dave Smalley (All, Dag Nasty, Down by Law) and Victor Rice, and features special guest appearances by Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Bad Religion), J. Robbins (Jawbox), among others.
About White Frogs - Formed in 1993 in Santos, Brazil, White Frogs helped define the melodic hardcore scene in South America, drawing inspiration from US bands like Bad Religion, Minor Threat, and Dag Nasty. They released key albums such as Urban Songs (1997), Twenty One Jay (2000), and the compilation Choices Made 93–98, toured extensively, and shared stages with genre legends including Bad Religion, NOFX, Down by Law, Millencolin, No Fun at All, Agent Orange, Shelter, Lag Wagon, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Bambix, Pulley, Inocentes and Ratos de Porão.
Their music has reached over 18 countries through DIY labels, vinyl, compilations, and digital platforms — but this CD marks their first UK physical release in over three decades of punk activity.
Engineer Records Connection - Engineer Records, known for working with underground and alternative acts worldwide, has previously released music by Garrison, Hell Is For Heroes, Elemae, and more. The label’s dedication to quality independent music makes it the perfect home for Radio Session, after Fuck it All records made the connection. This is a limited collectors item edition that comes out before the vinyl first time release of bands classic debut “Urban Songs”, that will come out next year celebrating 30 years of its first CD pressing.
