Hailing from Finspång, Sweden, the band describe their sound, half-jokingly and pretty accurately, as “Hüskerrock”: melodic punk force, fuzzy power pop, and rough-edged emotion rooted in the spirit of Hüsker Dü.

The record pulls from the same lane as Hüsker Dü, Social Distortion, Off With Their Heads, Hot Water Music, Foo Fighters, and Mercy Music, but Sweet Teeth keep it direct and scrappy rather than polished. Lead single “Normal People Freak Me Out” hits fast, loud, and immediate, with soaring guitars, buzzing bass, explosive drums, and vocals that swing between desperation and melody.
